Building on the success of the previous twenty-one years of the National Enterprise Awards, the Local Enterprise Offices are now launching the 2020 National Enterprise Awards. The awards recognise and promotes the success stories of small business owners from all over the country. In addition to enjoying extensive media coverage, National Finalists will compete for a prize fund of €41,000.
The aim of the National Enterprise Awards is to showcase, encourage and support a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurship in our communities, to promote entrepreneurship and to showcase, encourage and to celebrate the achievement of clients of Local Enterprise Offices.
Local Enterprise Office Mayo is now seeking Expressions of Interest for this prestigious competition, by emailing info@leo.mayococo.ie to obtain an Application Form.
All fully completed applications received from eligible enterprises by Friday, March 6th, 2020 will be reviewed.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:
The 2020 National Enterprise Awards Competition will be open to the following:
The applicant must be a CURRENT client of LEO Mayo or transferred to Enterprise Ireland within the last 12 months (after December 31st, 2018).
All businesses must be involved in internationally traded services or manufacturing and have qualified for one or more of the following:
- Measure 1 Financial Support (Feasibility Study, Priming and Expansion Grants)
- LEO Innovation Investment Fund (LIIF) Support
- Irelands Best Young Entrepreneur (IBYE) Winners
- TAME Support
- Trading Online Voucher
- Completed a LEAN Programme.
All entrants must employ ten or less employees, employed on a full-time basis as at 31/12/2018.

- Initial Expressions of Interest now open, email info@leo.mayococo.ie for an Application Form.
- Closing Date for applications: 4pm, March 6th, 2020
- National Adjudication April 29th, 30th and May 6th, 7th, 2020 in Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, County Westmeath.
- Overall County Finalist will progress to the National Enterprise Awards Final on May 28th, 2020 in the Mansion House, Dublin.
Completed applications to be returned together with Current Business Plan and up to date Financial Statements to info@.leo.mayococo.ie by 4pm, March 6th, 2020.
